In recent years, sensor technology has become a real buzzword due to the development of automated vehicles. And yet sensor technology extends far beyond ADAS/AD or electric mobility and is actually common use in the automobile. But developments in vehicle technology require new, increasingly precise and robust sensor information by means of new and hybrid sensor concepts and technologies in particular for future combustion engines as well as chassis and comfort functions. Sensors can therefore be justifiably called one of the key technologies for vehicle development.
